Physiology Class and Jane Austen

No. More. CHEMISTRY!! Well, lecture classes anyway! I took my final yesterday morning, and did pretty darn good on it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a B! I only have one more chem lab to take and then I am d-o-n-e! I'm so excited about this. Seriously. Pretty sure a one credit lab isn't near as bad as a four credit lecture AND lab class. Although it will be a three hour lab.. But, it doesn't even last the entire semester. :-D

Only one more final to go - Physiology. I'm sad this class is over! I seriously loved my teacher! He left a huge impression on me as a student. For one, he would bear his testimony all the time about the divinity of our bodies, which I always love. For two, he is just one of those men you feel lucky to have known and taken a class from. I'm so glad I had his class because he is retiring soon! I have only had one other teacher I have loved as much as him - Tomco (my anat teacher). Well, two if you count Brother Parker. I guess for now I am just going to have to enjoy studying for the final. Which, believe it or not, I love studying this subject! It's like I am reading a novel I can't get enough of! (Haha, wow, nerd moment!)

Speaking of novels, I am officially addicted to Jane Austen. My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, and yesterday I thought, "Why not try more of her novels?" So, I went and got Sense and Sensibility. I cannot put it down! Within the first three chapters I already wanted to strangle one person, and slap another! But, I am in love with the two main characters! I love how Jane Austen writes - I always lose myself in the elegance of her words. I can't wait to finish this book and start on Emma. I am such a sucker for classic novels it's not even funny. Sigh.

Anyway, gotta get back to studying! Ciao!

A Little Surprise

I love Mike's parents. I couldn't have better in-laws...seriously! They are absolutely wonderful! The other day I was struggling with a few things, and a knock came on the door, and surprise! They sent me this GORGEOUS flower arrangement! It totally made my day!
                                         Aren't they gorgeous?
After I sprayed them with a little water
The next afternoon Mike surprised me with this cute little guy! His name is Buster. :-) I have the most AMAZING husband and in-laws! Couldn't ask for better!
